Still Trying to Chase Rob Down for that Photoshoot

Now that Rob is done filming Water for Elephants I am trying to pin him down for that photoshoot! I'm working on getting everything set up with the right sets and props (anyone have a riding crop?) but I've been easily distracted these past couple of weeks by new Rob videos and songs about Robsten and overall fun bloggy stories.

I planned on putting everything together last weekend but that plan got derailed by a pitcher of Sangria--but don't worry, it is absolutely my most favorite Sangria in the world and it's been a while since I last had opportunity to partake in it so I hope you'll understand.

I'm not real fast at getting anything done, but I working on finding the time and getting the right motivation.

New EW outtake...see how easily distracted I get!!!

YEAH, I need motivation!

Happy Weekend!!

That's some Twilight Confidence Right there!

Apparently I live in a very Twilight-confident household.

Since snatching up the New Moon tumblers that feature all the Cullens (that were supposed to be gifts) and using them for her own personal tea parties, my three-year-old has asked me the names of each of the Twilight characters on the cup and also asked who each of the girls dances with. I thought Alice was her favorite. I was wrong.

Three-year-olds have a very healthy self-esteem and confidence level. She was looking at her own reflection in the sliding glass door recently and complimenting her long hair.

Then she proclaimed, "I'm beautiful, like Rosalie."

Yes my daughter compared herself to the vampire that is supposed to be the most beautiful creature in the world, next to Edward, without even realizing it. We should all have THAT much self esteem and confidence.

I wonder where she gets it from...certainly not me.

This past weekend Mr. ATP and I were planning on hitting one of our favorite little summer haunts for fresh veggies and various other goodies. One of our favorite things about this store is that you can get Coke in a bottle there from an old fashioned frig.

So when he  brought up going I took the opportunity to tell him about the recent pictures of Rob drinking Coke in a bottle to which Mr. ATP proclaimed,

"First buying vintage guitars and now drinking Coke in a bottle...is this guy trying to be me?"

If so, that's some awfully d*mn good news for ME, don't you think?

I don't know, Rob, do you want to be my husband?
(If I imagine Rob saying 'yes' can this be part of my confidence plan, DangrDafne?)

Well apparently the other members of my household don't need a confidence plan, but I do. If you need one too you can check out DangrDafne's site today by clicking here.

PS: Just when you thought comparing Rob in the last post to The Situation was bad...Lisa went and brought up Vanilla Ice. There's a Rob Mental Manip for you!!!

The Situation is Worse Than I thought...

I'm extremely disturbed with myself right now. I came across this picture last night of Rob and something about it really got under my skin and made had me excited at the sight of it. Yep one look at it and the compass in my uterus was pointing exactly to Rob.

I even emailed a few of you to share in my delight over how crazy stupid the picture made me feel because it seemed different than any other Rob picture I've ever seen---his slicked up hair, color in his face, the chain around his neck, the undershirt clinging to his resurfacing pecs, and that expression on his face. He's not even smiling but he's got that look that just conveys how desirable he knows he is.

Still there was something so different about this picture that I couldn't put my finger on but knew it reminded me of something else familiar to me.

So that was last night. And you know how they say your brain works while you are asleep to figure out burning questions.

Well this morning, not long after I awoke, I had an answer suddenly pop up into my thoughts.

And

it's

really

SCARY!!

This....

They f*ckin GUIDO'd Rob up...and I thought he looked hot like that.

I'm severely disturbed with myself!!!

The SITUATION is worse than I thought!

I've never been more thankful that Rob's character name in WFE is Jacob and not Tony, Mike, or John.

Be sure to continue on to read my previous post about movie theme songs.

Ecipse Needed a Musical Post-It Note

Dear Summit,

I wanted to share with you how you FAILED to make Eclipse a summer blockbuster event for me. I don't care what your numbers show. These movies are a part of a pop cultural phenomenon that I want to remember for years to come, but in your haste to make your opening week dollar, I was slighted.

It's not that I don't love the Twilight soundtrack, because I do, but you would have thought that by the time Eclipse came out you would have taken somebody up on their offer to write a HIT song for your movie--a song that would become hugely popular and would get a lot of radio airtime.

I think all movies should strive to have a coordinating hit song but especially a summer movie. It completes the total movie-going experience for me. Did you really strive to have a popular hit song Summit or not? I know there are a lot of politics involved with getting music played on the radio, but did you at least try?

Lemme explain how it works for me Summit.

You take a good movie and you add a great hit song to it. Said song gets played on the radio A LOT!! I fall in love with the song and can't get enough of it. (NOW LISTEN UP SUMMIT BECAUSE HERE'S A PART I THINK YOU WILL REALLY LIKE) Every time that song plays on the radio it provides ***FREE*** advertising for your movie and literally soaks into my subconscious creating a musical post-it note that serves to remind me of the movie and makes me think, "Hey I love this song and I want to go see that movie (again)!"

Once again Summit, know that you failed me. I would suggest for Breaking Dawn you get this right, because years from now I want to hear THAT special song on the radio--the one that I IMMEDIATELY link with Edward Cullen and it still makes my heart melt and sigh over the love story, the way a great movie song so easily can do. I've provided a few examples to demonstrate my point:

Grease, 1978 "Summer Lovin" "Hopelessly Devoted To You" etc
Rocky III, 1982 "Eye of the Tiger"
Back to the Future, 1985 "The Power of Love"
Top Gun, 1986 "Take My Breath Away" "Danger Zone"
Dirty Dancing, 1987 "Hungry Eyes" "I've Had the Time of My Life" "She's Like the Wind"
Bull Durham, 1988 "Centerfield"
Ghost, 1990 "Unchained Melody" (I believe it was re-released.)
Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, 1991 "Everything I Do, I Do It for You"
Last Action Hero, 1993 "Two Steps Behind"
The Lion King, 1994 "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?"
Men In Black, 1997 "MIB"
Amrageddon, 1998 "Don't Want To Miss A Thing"
Spider-Man, 2002 "Hero"
Shrek 2, 2004 "Accidentally in Love"

Nonsummer hit movies that soared because of a hit song...

America Gigalo, 1980 "Call Me"
Flashdance, 1983 "Flashdance" "Maniac" "Bette Davis Eyes"
The Breakfast Club, 1985 "Don't You (Forget About Me)"
Pretty In Pink, 1986 "Pretty in Pink"
Say Anything, 1989 "In Your Eyes"
Benny and Joon, 1993 "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)"
Titanic, 1997 "My Heart Will Go On"
(How many times did you go see Titanic? Could it have been because Celine Dion's song was played on the radio 10,000 times a day for weeks?)

So Summit why don't you work on that for me for Breaking Dawn? I don't think coming up with a good love song is too much to ask especially with the movie having a wedding and all. Maybe you should take Kelly Clarkson up on her offer for a song next time, take advantage of your link to Taylor Swift, or even call upon Bryan Adams if you need to... but get someone (*coughROBcough*) to write a full-blown love song that rocks all of us to the core and leaves a lasting mark on the greater pop culture so that we may always treasure it as a reflection of and link to the movie and our love for Twilight.

Sincerely,
TongueTwied

PS: Regarding New Moon and Remember Me , the same concept applies. You skimped on the music.

What is your favorite hit song from a movie?
Tell me in the comments!

I Wonder What Recent Emails from Daddy Pattz Have Said...

Is that a real boo boo on his hand?
Do you think he needs someone to kiss it and make it feel better?

So what's the verdict?

I was thinking about those recent pictures and Rob's papparazzi experience and somehow I JUST CAN'T HELP but wonder if Daddy Pattz took the time to email his son with some supportive words and what such pearls of wisdom would be.

Maybe something about...

*Taking the high road when it comes to the papparazzi

*Returning to England where his celebrity status is less of a big deal

*Hiring a second Taylor...I mean Dean

*Reminding him how travelling in groups is still safer whether you are 12 or 24

*Suggesting he take a queue from Charlie Swan and start carrying pepper spray

I could go on and on...but I wondered which one of such emails Rob would choose to share on television again if given the chance.

I think it might go something like this...

Dear Rob,
I've often thought how blessed we Pattinson men are but flaunting the crown jewels is neither gentlemanly nor appropriate. Do you need your mother to send some proper undergarments to you? I hear Marks and Spencers is creating a line just for you.
Love, Dad

(Don't worry, it's just a totally fabricated theory!)

We've got a big Rob photoshoot next week with no pictures from the papparazzi involved and also a new fanfiction review/interview!!
Happy Weekend!!!

Jackson Is Just a Big Kid!!

I saw this commercial earlier this week while my daughter was watching Dora the Explorer and I started jumping up and down with excitement to see Jackie boy in this. And I'm calling him Jackieboy because he looks like a big kid here! It is just so strange when and where Twilife crosses with Real Life...but isn't that the fun of it...life's little unexpected Twilight delights dropped in your lap?

So check it out here!

And if you need more Jackson then go see ItsRoblated who has a the third installment of Rehab going on all due to Jackson. Click here!

I was trying to explain the concept of the Rehab posts to Mr. AnTwi-Pattz when the Ke$ha song came on the radio and he made some reference to the movie, "Girl, Interrupted" but I corrected him how that movie was about girls in a mental institute. His response was sort of a "Yeah, I know." Then there was some quip about saying hi to Lindsay Lohan during our stay. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....I'll get him back!

I went to see Eclipse again the other night. It was a very Victorialike last minute decision when friends called. Hubby was okay with me going being that I felt like it might be my last chance to see Rob while he was still in town. I got home late and was a little wired so I was just about to throw Twilight into the DVD player (oh alright it was already in there I admit) so just as I was about to hit PLAY Mr. ATP pulls a rarity on me and declares, "No Pattinson." What? Well let me tell you I was pretty appreciative at how he handled the news of my last-minute movie plans and his default babysitting responsibilities so I decided to respect his request. But that didn't stop me from going downstairs, getting my Robp0rn totebag and hanging it up on the inside doorknob of our bedroom!!! I won't be censored in my own home!!!  ;o) Hmmm...what was the name of that show I loved in the '80s about the busy career woman who hired a man who was an ex-boxer to be her live-in housekeeper and he had a daughter played by Alyssa Milano.

Yeah, you get what I'm sayin'.
