I had a brief conversation with my friend Alice regarding this recently and we managed to remember that summer. We were working at our fantastic summer job [insert forever crush reference here] and her boyfriend at the time was 27....uhmm yeah we still within the 'ends-with-teen years' and her boyfriend was even like, "What day is it? Oh I have to be home to watch 90210." Seriously, he was one of her best boyfriends, and I'm probably just saying that because he loved all the same music I did.

So here's a little trivia...Season 3 started in July with the gang on their summer vacation, but Fox still promo'd the September episode like it was the start of a new season announcing how everything was going to change during their senior year. While usually Beverly Hills, 90210 was learning the value of incorporating current music hits into their show [Remember the 'Color Me Bad' episode?], they went with a popular 1987 song to set the mood for the love triangle we all knew was going to hit the fan upcoming. 

Trivia Question: What was that famous 80s song? 

I expect no one to remember it.

Don't ask me why Alice and I remember it.
