TWILIGHT: Rob's Birthday Blog Train, Day 1

May 9-13 It's Birthday Fun all for Rob as hosted by Robmusement!!!

So time again for birthday wishes for Rob!!!

Wow! Can you believe here we are a year later doing a birthday train for Rob again? I almost didn't participate this year. Not because I didn't want to, it's just that I'm a busy gal lately. And how many times do I need to repeat the same thing to Rob--HOST SNL PLEASE!!! That's like all I ask.

Oh yeah, and record some music (I can hook you up with a recording studio in private) That's it. That's all I'll ever want from him.

Well maybe he could do a recurring guest role on one of our favorite tv shows. Big deal, three little requests from him.

And I would really, really like to be given a ticket to see the premiere of Cosmopolis.

And while we are on the subject of that movie, let's hope Eric Packer's look pre-haircut includes a lot of long, tousled hair (ala freshly f*cked).

Okay so apparently I have a lot of requests.

Good thing my buddy Munkee has a much more simplified wish for you that she is going to share:

I have a special wish for Rob for his birthday. Nope, not ear plugs. It’s a special superpower for the day. And no, not the ability to tell the future or mellow everybody out. For his birthday, as a gift from me, Rob gets to be Anonymous Man.

He’s the guy in front of you at the coffee shop, the one who filled your tires with air, who was picking up crap in the dog park, who bought a newspaper, or he’s riding the bicycle with the basket in front, who fell asleep on the train, the one with the grey hat walking on the bridge. Just that guy over there. You don’t know him.

He can play his guitar and shop for a pillow or buy a taco or walk his dog. Or his ferret. You won’t notice him. Although if he did have a ferret I think people would notice that.

So Happy Birthday, Rob! Yeah, I realize this gift is more ironic than those French movies Rob loves. Giving the gift of anonymity to a person I’ve never met and who, I’m sure, sometimes wishes me and everyone like me would all go the f*ck away. It’s the thought that counts!
