If Rob came...to my neck of the woods.

Ohhh Rob's neck. Necking in the woods...Neckkid....wha..what is the subject again?

What is a neck of the woods? I looked up the definition.

A neck is defined as a:

narrow, elongated, projecting

strip of land.

hmmmm...kind of like Florida or Long Island...wait I thought that was a penisula.

Anyway, well if you were in town, Rob, I could surely be selfish about what I would like to do to you...errr..I mean with you.

My first thoughts....errr, make that my second ...no wait...third...well let's just go with somewheres way down on the list of thoughts about you coming visiting would be to take you to the local University. (not at all inspired by Profward or anything) You know how those old universities are so rich in history with such beautiful architecture. But then I was like "Smart college girls are TOTAL fangirls" and with school back in session, that would never do!!! You could be seriously swarmed and hurt and very nearly taken away from me and what little precious time we had together.

I might have that problem anywhere I take you.

Maybe you should just hang out by the pool for a bit with eWard.

Sparkle, sparkle in the sun.
Then again it is getting kind of cold outside and we don't want any George Costanza shrinkage moments, so that might not be the best idea.

Still, for your privacy, I thought would be to just take a stroll in the back yard. It is a shame because it is a bit more meadowesque in the springtime but it is private and would give you a chance to just walk, run around a bit, and really enjoy the fresh air.

{wow, I'm really uncomfortable with all these pervy thoughts mixed in with the innocence of a child...but then again...}

And trust me, nothing puts you in a better mood than running around outside with nothing but peace and quiet and a three-year-old.
We could even re-enact some of the magic of the baseball scene in Twilight. I'll do the Emmett dance and say his line to you, "Babe, come on, it's just a game." (Oh you thought I was going to call you that other name Kellan did, didn't you?)

You're from England, I love France. Peak-a-boo, I see your ...
lower back!

(Oh but watch out for the deer poop and the rabbit poop and the snakes) If you ended up with deer poop on your clothes, you could just take them off and let me....

Errrr....wait where was I? Oh right, I'd wash your clothes for you. Okay that is only if necessary.

And I got off the subject of my neck of the woods.

Soooo.... I was still concentrating on you and that word "neck"  And I made a seriously genius connecktion!!!

What is dear to your heart, always with you, has a "neck" and is NOT a person...

That's right handsome! Your guitar!

As long as you are up for a road trip and don't mind helping out with holding up the EZ PASS, I say we take one! I love road trips. They make me want to hold hands and do a happy jig with Jackson and Mohawtie Jerad:

What's that you want me to come do "London Bridge Is Falling Down" with you two?
I'll be your shared fair lady!

So Rob, I'd pack us up in my mama's hot rod and...oh sh*t, you like the vintage cars, I forgot!!! For you, I'd probably be able to swing the keys to a '63 Avanti and drive us on over to...

 Martin's Guitar Museum
 in beautiful Nazareth, PA.

Not only do you get to see some famous guitars on display there but they still have a factory and you can see how guitars are made. It is the perfect mix of your love for musicians and your love for playing the instrument! And it is a nice quiet place where we won't be hassled.

And for further enticement, let's remember what famous musicians have used the Martin guitar:

Elvis

Sting

Clapton

Mr. ATP
(*wink,wink*)

Rick Nelson
(aka father of Gunnar and Matthew Nelson)

Johnny Cash

Sounds great, right?

Then when we return to my house, I will bake you some white chocolate chip cookies or how about a fall cake? Pumpkin cake with caramel pecan icing?

because I'm all hospitable like that.

And then I would just ask you to make yourself at home.
And if Mr. ATP isn't home yet, feel free to try out all of his guitars.

Of course, once the toddler comes home, you should know that you will be TOLD WHAT TO DO, as in what songs to sing and how to sing them. She'll probably request "Chokin' on the Dust" but she'll clap for you, shower you with kisses, and ask if you want to give her a present for her success at potty training.

Then, she'll probably subject you to a tea party.

and playing with Twilight paper dolls...

And be prepared to for an explanation as to why Edward sparkles that goes something like this...

Edward goes outside and Tinkerbell comes and sprinkles fairy dust on him and then he sparkles! And Jacob Black is Bella's best friend. He is smart and has pet wolves. Jasper is my special friend.

I gotta tell you, it all sounds pretty good to me.
Call me!

I'm sure you would never want to visit anywhere else but if you do, your future stops might be

Here, take my car, it's equipped with a GPS tracking device and OnStarr.

**Thanks to Kelly for her help in making Rob feel right at home on my couch.*wink, wink*
