Rob and Kristen: Have you ever been lost in THAT moment?

I watched Twilight before I read the books. And I try to treat the two of them separately and give them credit for what they are worth apart from each other--wishing the two could have been more similar but still giving credit to the scenes that I liked that were different.

In the movie I like the cafeteria scene for the apple, but more so I love when Edward smiles after Bella invites him to the beach. To me, it is the equivalent of Midnight Sun with him realizing that "yes, Bella could like him too."

The hospital scene just annoyed me though. I liked the book version so much better. And hello, Edward tells her that he loves her in it. The worst part of the hospital scene in the movie though is Kristen's acting. Sorry :(
I can watch that scene now, but it took a long time of me skipping past it. I couldn't believe it was in the movie that way, especially since I had thought everyone did a great job up until that point. No really, I did! I mean obviously the kissing was great, though I think Rob could probably kiss his own knee and make it look really hot!

But that hospital scene, oh man was harsh to watch. It is better for me now.

Thankfully, we make it to the prom scene, specifically the gazebo scene, and Kristen pulled off something so freakkin' brilliant that I will always give her (and Rob) the utmost credit for...

She perfectly executed an emotion that I distinctly remember feeling when I was young and first dating Mr. AnTwi-Pattz. That look on her face that says pure longing, feeling so caught up in the moment, feeling like she never wanted the moment to end, and feeling like she never, ever wanted to have to leave him. A feeling so strong that you almost want to cry. Sappy? Yes. Romantic? Yes, knowing it is a moment you had but can't get back everyday and not in a fallen out of love way, it is just one of those things that happens when you are first caught up in a new love.

So after learning more about Rob and Kristen I realized that there she stood staring into his big, beautiful (contact-hidden) green blue eyes completely drunk on RPattz smittenness and she must have had those similar strong emotions to achieve that look on her face that enhanced her "acting" at that very moment.

So take another look at this scene and tell me if it can't be summed up in one word. Incidentally, in my mind I hear that one word being said the same way I read Edward saying "Renesme" in a voice of discovery, surprise, and amazement after the delivery.

"Robsten!"

Bella and Edward aside, if you were Kristen wouldn't you have gotten really lost in that moment? Maybe completely lost in Rob's eyes?
Did you see that look Jacob Black? Were you lurking in the trees still that night and watched how Bella looked at Edward? Did you see how Edward kissed her? He didn't need to speak in some wolfy language. He was speaking the universal language of love! That's why it will always be him!!! Sorry pup!

One day while watching the prom scene the sappy, romantic side of me was just crushing on this movie and I like totally, oh my Gawd put this song to it, because like wow, it is a totally awesome 80s song!
As luck would have it, I found this on youtube, so I had to do this!
I say sorry now!

Look to your left. Look to your right. Nobody's around? Good!
Then feel free to sing if you know the words!

Fun fact: Debbie Gibson's perfume Electric Youth smells exactly like Britney Spear's Curious.
