This Stop: Goblet of Fire

Rob in Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire

Oh our little Roblet of Desire how you were fanning the flames before you were full blown on fire!

He was barely legal when he filmed his role as Cedric Diggory. He was baby-faced, charming, commanding of the role, and his presence was felt. He was just cute, right? I shouldn't have watched this movie very recently and felt all smitten and in love with a pre-VanityFair shoot Rob, right? That's what I suggested to myself, but I was wrong again! He had everything going on that I love about him today--the charisma, the jawline, the height, the eyes, the hair (oh gawd the hair!). Yeah, I'll take a tall, cool goblet full of that, please!

Hey Rob, I liked the way you worked it, as Diggory, I get to brag it up!

Watch for Maximum Cedricuteness!

Here are a few things I really love about Rob in this movie:

1. Okay Cedric so the pins weren't your idea, but let's talk about those schmexy smooth steps of yours.

The Ball.

Dancing.

Not such a bad idea!

I wish they had shown more of this because he was doing a whole choreographed waltzy type dance that he must have had to practice a lot. A Pattzy Waltzy? The way he looks into her eyes-just like Twilight prom!

2.  Young Rob in a tuxedo. Yuuuuuuuum-mmeeeeeeeeeee! Future glimpse of him at the Oscars, red carpet premieres, Breaking Dawn wedding, and maybe a little Pierce Bronson inspired "Bond, James Bond?"

3.  Loved hearing Rob's accent in this movie, especially when he said "bath," "take my body," and "you helped me."

4.  Rewatching this with my current perspective it was hard not to link Cedric to Tyler.

Rob is getting used to looking a little banged up. And then we all know how both characters fared in the endings of these movies.

5.  One of my favorite aspects of Cedric Diggory was how nice he was to Harry with Rob again playing a character that fulfills one of our fantasies. He's the hawt, popular, athletic, smart, charasmatic guy with a good heart. ~sigh~ The same good heart we know Rob has. How easily Rob's personality carried into this role!
